After completing a BA in Art History and Film Studies Marg was advised by her teacher to complete an honours degree rather than ‘run off and become an earth mother’. Someone else advised her that the world needs earth mothers more than it needs film critics. She chose the latter before becoming an art teacher and then completing an MA in Art Therapy. Her career has been informed by travels near and far, inner and outer. She is a cartographer of the inner terrain of human existence and a holder of stories. As a therapist Marg seeks to understand her clients’ “beauty language”. She believes that when we experience and express life through our own language of beauty we live in greater joy and authenticity.
