Monday Minute: You’ve Got the Whole World in Your Hands!
You’ve got the whole world in your hands! The question is, what the heck do you do with it?!

A question that we often get in Fearless Communicators is what to do with your hands when you are speaking? As a Cuban homosexual, if unchecked, I would be moving my hands like I’m landing a plane or voguing or doing the Macarena. So a neutral stance that I think is really useful, speaking about the globe, is to imagine that you have a ball in between your hands and your fingertips are touching each other, and centering it somewhere around your middle chest. And from this open position, you have access to your right, you have access to the left, you have access up, and you have also access down. And it just gives you an anchoring and a centering that solves the question of what to do with your hands.
