Monday Minute: Disco Nap

THE DISCO NAP! Many entrepreneurs and influencers exalt the power of a morning routine, cold plunging, gratitude journaling, etc. This week I want to share with you my NAPPING ROUTINE. Leaning on my Cuban/Spanish lineage and the call of my ancestors to SIESTA! Here are three tips that I have developed after years of SIESTA MASTERY:

1. Don’t get under the covers.

2. Sleep on your back with legs crossed and arms crossed on chest.

3. Set your alarm for 20 minutes.

Whether I’m keynoting, emceeing, facilitating, working, living my life. . . the 20-minute midday reset is the gift that keeps this energizer bunny going!

It is time for your Fearless Monday Minute. I am emceeing a conference and when you are emceeing and or facilitating throughout the day, my favorite hack is the disco nap. So finding a quiet place where you can lay down and take 20 minutes to close your eyes, settle yourself back up again and ground in, to continue to energetically show up in service to your audience is a game changer. So I get in bed, I do not use the covers, I cross my legs and I cross my hands on my chest and I set an alarm for 20 minutes. And that is my secret recipe for a fabulous disco nap.”
